CANIS NODECANIS NODE is a small Android app built around a single action a day. Open it, run your node, and the loop closes for another day. Nothing runs in the background and nothing is computed on your phone.
The word node describes the loop, not the work. Your phone does no computation, joins no network, and solves nothing. Rewards come from a schedule fixed in advance and held on the server, so the device you own makes no difference to what you earn.
The app does no work while it is closed. No background service, no wake locks, no battery drain to explain away.
There is no purchase in the app and no payment is taken. Everything inside is bought with balance you earned there.
The reward schedule is published below in full, including the lifetime cap. The same numbers apply to every account, and changes to them are announced, not slipped in.
A lap takes 24 hours from the moment you run it. The countdown is kept on the server, so changing your phone's clock does nothing.
If your lap is complete the node is ready. If not, the screen shows exactly how long is left.
One tap. The reward for the current era is added to your balance and the next 24 hours begin.
Missing a day costs you that day and nothing else. No streak is broken and no progress is taken away.
Dogs are the thing you build toward. They can be trained, listed on the in-app market, and bought from other players — with app balance, never with money.
Issued with a serial number the moment the account is created. It is yours to keep, train, and sell.
A further dog needs 30 completed laps and 15,000 in balance. Thirty laps is thirty days — that is the point.
The number issued this way is capped across all accounts. After that, dogs change hands only on the market.
One account cannot corner the market. Anything beyond fifty has to sit somewhere else.
The 30-lap requirement is deliberate friction. A dog that costs only balance can be farmed by scripts; a dog that costs thirty calendar days cannot be hurried, whatever you automate.
Each era runs 120 days and pays half of the one before it. The schedule is set in advance and applies to every account equally. It does not scale with how many people join, and no account receives a private multiplier.
| ERA | DAYS | PER RUN | ERA TOTAL | RUNNING TOTAL |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | 120 | 1,000 | 120,000 | 120,000 |
| 2 | 120 | 500 | 60,000 | 180,000 |
| 3 | 120 | 250 | 30,000 | 210,000 |
| 4 | 120 | 125 | 15,000 | 225,000 |
| 5 | 120 | 62 | 7,440 | 232,440 |
| 6 | 120 | 31 | 3,720 | 236,160 |
| 7 | 120 | 15 | 1,800 | 237,960 |
| 8 | 120 | 7 | 840 | 238,800 |
| Lifetime cap per account | 238,800 | |||
After the eighth era the rate holds at 7 per run and does not fall further. The lifetime cap is per account and is enforced on the server: once an account has received 238,800 in total, further runs pay nothing. These are the figures the app runs on today — see the note at the foot of this page.
Every account is issued an eight-character code. Someone entering it during or after sign-up links the two accounts a single time, and both sides receive a one-time bonus.
An account can be linked to one inviter and never to a second. You cannot enter your own code.
Invite bonuses land in a bonus balance, kept apart from what you earned by running the node.
Bonus balance is spent before earned balance and does not count toward what can be withdrawn.
Bonus and earned balances are separated for one reason: if invite rewards were withdrawable, the profitable move would be creating accounts rather than using the app.
Yes. There is nothing to buy in the app and no payment is ever taken. Dogs and upgrades are bought with balance earned inside the app.
Not yet. This is a test build, distributed here first. If that changes, this page will point at the store listing instead.
No. Nothing runs while the app is closed and nothing is computed while it is open. The only work your phone does is drawing the screen.
You lose that day's run and nothing else. There is no streak to break and no penalty beyond the day itself.
One account per person. The lifetime cap is per account, and duplicate accounts are removed along with anything on them.
Today it buys and trains dogs and pays for market listings. Withdrawal exists in the app but has a minimum, and only earned balance counts toward it — bonus balance does not.
An email address, a display name, and your in-app balances. A wallet address only if you enter one yourself. The privacy policy lists everything, including how to have it all deleted.
A separate browser game, free to play and nothing to install. Three leagues, six tracks, eight runners a race — you pick the runner and watch the lap. It shares the cast and the look with the app, and nothing else: no account, no balance, no results kept.
Eight quadruped robots. The league the whole thing is named after.
Eight apes and monkeys, each with their own run cycle.
Six characters from the wider CANIS cast, run six a side.
One download, one account, one tap a day. The first dog is issued the moment you sign up.
CANIS NODE is in active development. The figures on this page — the reward schedule, the lifetime cap, and the costs and limits around dogs — describe the app as it stands today. They may be adjusted as the project matures.
When that happens it will be for one reason: keeping the in-app economy stable enough that the app is still worth opening a year from now. A reward rate that looks generous today is worth nothing if it empties the market by the time you get there. Anything material will be announced in the app before it takes effect, and this page will be updated to match.
Nothing here is an offer, a solicitation, a promise of future value, or financial advice. In-app balances are exactly that — balances inside an app. Do not treat them as an investment, and do not spend money expecting a return from them.
